An object moves in a circle at constant speed. Velocity (teal) is always tangent; the net (centripetal) force and acceleration (coral) always point to the center: ac = v²/r.

Try: double the speed — ac goes up by 4× (it depends on v²). Then double the radius at fixed speed — ac is halved.
